SERP Dental™ is the result of two distinguished career journeys converging to form a world-class marketing powerhouse. Founded by a dynamic husband-and-wife duo with over 30 years of experience in brand and performance marketing, SERP Dental™ blends strategic expertise, entrepreneurial vision, and a deep understanding of local business dynamics to deliver exceptional results.

Sonia Hounsell began her post-MBA career at leading blue-chip CPG companies, where she honed her skills in brand strategy, innovation, and business management. She later launched her own consumer brand in oral care, which gained international attention after a Shark Tank appearance and experienced dramatic growth. Now, Sonia is helping other businesses scale — leveraging her brand-building expertise and performance marketing know-how to drive growth.

Patrick Hounsell started his career in digital marketing at the dawn of the internet era. He climbed the ranks from early-stage startups to global agencies, ultimately serving as CEO in a worldwide digital marketing firm. Patrick brings a visionary approach to the Board with his deep performance marketing experience, rooted in data, technology, and decades of hands-on leadership.

Together, Sonia and Patrick acquired the predecessor to SERP Dental™ — an agency with deep roots and proven success in marketing for dental practices, law firms, and local service businesses. This specialized experience became a powerful foundation for SERP Dental™’s evolution, combining the predecessor’s domain expertise with Sonia and Patrick’s broader brand and digital marketing vision.

Since the acquisition, they have transformed SERP Dental™ into a growth-oriented, data-driven, high-impact healthcare marketing agency. Sonia once jumped out of an airplane, and as fun as it was at the time, she vows never to do it again.

He grew up in a small town in Arkansas but has lived/worked in Washington DC, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and golden mini-dachshund, Macaroni.
